Duration: 5 Days
What you will learn
The Oracle Solaris 11 Network Administration course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to
configure and administer a reliable, scalable, highly available, resource-optimized, and secure enterprise-grade network
infrastructure, both physical and virtual, by using the various networking features and technologies in Oracle Solaris 11.
Some of the key features of Software Defined Networking (SDN) covered in this course include VNICs, etherstub,
VLAN, PVLAN, VXLAN, EVS, and reflective relay.
Learn To:
Explain the fundamentals of networking.
Configure a virtual network.
Configure network high availability.
Configure network services.
Configure network resources.
Implement network security.
Diagnose networking issues.
Benefits To You
This course uses extensive hands-on approach to explain the networking capabilities introduced, enhanced, or modified
in Oracle Solaris 11. Through scenarios and illustrations, the course explains how the network virtualization features and
technologies in Oracle Solaris 11 make a good case for network consolidation, geographies notwithstanding. The course
also covers some of the observability tools used for diagnosing and troubleshooting networking issues.
Live Virtual Class Format
A Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any
time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording,
copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
