The Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance Overview Ed 1 course introduces you to the most comprehensive and
configurable database protection solution available from Oracle. You will learn the concepts that are needed to plan for
and deploy the Recovery Appliance in data centers.

Describe ZDLRA functions and features.
Install and configure the Recovery Appliance.
Configure Protected Databases.
Understand ZDLRA protection policies and best practices.
Perform disaster recovery with replication.
Integrate with Media Managers for Archival Backups.
Apply operational best practices and perform troubleshooting.

Benefits To You
Students will benefit from learning about Oracle Recovery Appliance features, installation configuration, maintenance
and diagnostic tools, in addition to disaster recovery implementation and tape library integration. Students will learn how
to enroll protected databases to the system, how to create protected policies for them and how to monitor and schedule
RMAN backups and recovery tasks using the Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control web user interface and the
Command-Line tool. Finally they will learn how to create powerful reports to get metrics from the system and summaries
of the different backup and recovery executed jobs.
